Traveling to Tuscany:
Airline Service: The closest commercial airports to Diecimo
are in Pisa (50 minute drive) and Florence (1 hour drive). Both
airports are served by a variety of major airlines and discount
airlines, including Alitalia, Air France, British Airways, Lufthansa,
EasyJet, and Ryan Air. Both airports offer direct flights to major
European international airports. Travelers from the United States
will find that most flights to Pisa or Florence will require a change
of planes at a major European airport.
Trains: Train service in Italy is easy to use. There is a train station in Diecimo -
only 200 yards from Franco's
Friendly Villa! You can catch the train at the airport in Pisa or
from the center city station in Florence. From Diecimo,
you can take the train anywhere in Italy via Lucca or Pisa. More
