The Taverna

Breakfast and Lounge Areas:
No Italian home is complete without good food and good company! We have converted the Villa's rustic wine and food storage cellar into a beautiful and cozy dining and lounge area. Enjoy a European breakfast freshly prepared each morning on site by our staff and included in the cost of your stay. (If you have special dietary requirements, we will be happy to accommodate your requirements with a custom made breakfast.)  Later in the day, you can spend some time here lounging by the fireplace or planning tomorrow's trip into the Tuscan countryside!

The taverna is the oldest part of the house and has been meticulously renovated.  All of the stone and brick work dates to the original construction of the house.  For the Ambrogi family of the early 1900s, the taverna was a place to store meats and other foods, as well as the location of the presses where they made their own wine and olive oil.
